Digital Design Online is an established web design company that has been delivering projects at all levels of complexity to clients across the UK. Our clients range from startups to small business to large enterprises. We have developed a sophisticated style and a deep understanding of website requirements since our founding in 2017.

Sometimes our clients may require our services at very short notice. We can usually accommodate rush jobs depending on the size of the project and how full our production schedule is. These jobs are usually subjected to an additional fast track charge on top of the cost of the graphic service requested. At current our graphic design fast track charge is set at £69.

We are based in the beautiful Robin Hood town of Nottingham. But we love to work with companies all across the UK, and internationally.

We work from Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm. We are closed over weekends, bank holidays, and from the 23rd of December to 3rd/4th January over the festive period. Of course you can still email us within these times at hello@digitaldesignonline.co.uk and we will get back to you as soon as we return.

Once your first payment has been received, we advise on a first review date, each project type has different turnaround times depending on the nature of the project. Firstly, please let us know as soon as possible. We will need to charge for any work already carried out after we received your approval to proceed, but of course, if we haven’t started then there will be no charge.

Not at all. We discuss your website requirements and price accordingly. Once you have placed your order with us, we adhere to our fixed/quoted price. If you require any additional work we will always invoice separately.

We are primarily an online business, so most of the time, a meeting isn't necessary and the work is completed with only discussions over phone, email or other. This allows us to maintain a fast workflow in turn allowing us to provide the pricing structures that we do. We upload our work for your review to a private server that only clients can access. We then work with you to implemented requested amendments to the site until you are happy with the result.

You can send us a bacs transfer or a paypal payment.

You kick start your project with a 50% payment. The remaining is due upon completion and just before going live/sending over your project files.

Web Project

At the time of completion on any website we make, we take a screenshot of our finished work, since then, our previous clients may have altered their own site etc, added content, changed things as they see fit, if any of our designs differ slightly from the link then it is due to this.

You as the client is responsible for supplying content for your website. We can collaborate with you in this area, making recommendations and helping you find suitable online resources. It is very important that your website reflects information about (and from) your company.

All of our websites that we host come with email accounts (all with your domain name address). 

Web hosting is required in order to get your website online. It is the space that you ‘rent’ which houses your web files and allows users to access your site and the information contained on it.

If you are not satisfied with the initial design, we will work with you further and come up with another design. Our aim is to design a website that you are completely happy with.

Modern search engines will find your site naturally, through links to your site from other sites. Google especially relies on your incoming links to determine popularity and relevance.

Pretty much any payment gateway that can be integrated. You can take payments online in a number of ways. The first is PayPal, an inexpensive way to start taking payments quickly. With PayPal, your visitors can pay with a credit card or by sending a payment from their checking account. PayPal provides a very easy way to integrate a shopping cart into your site, which reduces development time. There is also the option of creating a full e-commerce solution. This involves many different components - a merchant account from a bank, a payment gateway service that allows you to accept payments into your merchant account from your website, a shopping cart or payment script that integrates with your payment gateway, and certain elements of the server environment like having an SSL certificate and a static IP.

All of our website are mobile responsive meaning you will have fluidity between all devices, however your visitors can see some things differently depending on their browser, screen resolution settings and devices. We design sites with that in mind and preview them in several browsers and resolution settings before publishing. As technology evolves, all websites need to be re-evaluated.

All of our websites have a CMS system, since most of our websites are built on a WordPress platform, this means you have full control of your site once complete. If you don't feel confident in making changes, and wish to make changes infrequently, we can carry our these changes for a small charge otherwise you can sign up to our after care package at £20.99 per month which covers the maintenance of your website.

All of our websites are created with search engines in mind. However the rank of your website is wholly dependent on any SEO or online marketing you have applied to your site, please keep in mind that whilst our sites are search engine friendly SEO is required to rank very high up in the search engines. It is a good idea for your website to be re-evaluated from time to time as search engines do alter their rules and algorithms. This will ensure that your site is up to date with new rules for basic search engine compliance.

Please provide all text, photos and graphics in electronic form. For example, Microsoft Word, Email text & attachments.

You may move your site to another Web hosting service at any time. Once your design has been completed you receive all necessary login details for your website.

We fully support any website we design and are always available should you encounter any problems or require new enhancements. You can sign up for a our monthly care package which includes : content updates, amendments to existing pages, site backup, plus more for £35 per month.

We have pricing structures on our website, for custom projects (Projects that don't fall under our preset pricing guide), it varies depending on its complexity. We are happy to discuss your requirements and provide a quote at any time.

Depending on the complexity and website package, we have some general timelines of when you can expect the first complete review of your project. If you have a deadline, we will work hard to meet it. The most common cause of delay is the content (text/images/etc) from the client, so ensuring that we have everything we need to get your project complete is really important. Some rough timelines are:
1 (Landing) Page Website = 7 days
3 Page website = 10 days
4 - 7 Page website = 15 days
8 - 15 Page website = 30 days

The choice of domain name depends on how you plan to use it. In most cases, it makes sense to choose one that is easy to pronounce and spell if you will be telling people about it over the phone. Above all, you should choose a name that is memorable and not confusing. Ultimately the choice is yours.

After 12 months you can remain with our host for £13.99 per month set up via monthly payment, or move your website onto another host elsewhere. If you would also like to renew your domain with us then this will be chargeable at £10 per year.

Currently yes, we include 12 months domain* & hosting for any clients who may want this. If you already have a domain or host we will use these for your project. The start date of domain and host begins once acquired.

Graphic Design

We start all projects by requesting you fill in a project form that will detail what you want. From this project form we establish the specific requirements, which we call The Brief. We believe that client input is a crucial factor to making the project a success. Once we have established the brief, we begin work on the project by reviewing your form and researching ideas. We then get cracking on your first review mockups ready to send for your first review date. If any alterations are required once you receive your mockups , we make the necessary amendments and re submit to you. This process continues until we receive client approval.

YES, you get the AI, EPS (vector), jpeg & png files.

That depends, the main software packages we use are Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop & Adobe InDesign, if you have the said softwares we use then absolutely, if not then unfortunately the files are not editable.

Once we have received your final payment for the project, we will supply all electronic files via email or Wetransfer for files that exceed the attachment limit. For print jobs, you will receive high resolution PDFs as well as all fonts used within the artwork, which can be taken to a printer of your choice.
